لتدو السماواتُ برعدِها
لترم الصواعقُ نيرانَها
إلى عِزّ تونسَ إلى مَجدِها
رجالُ البلادِ وشُبانها
إذا الشعبُ يوما أرادَ الحياة
فلا بدّ أن يستجيبَ القدرْ
ولا بدّ للّيل أن ينجلي
ولا بدّ للقيد أن ينكسِرْ
